Beth Folkerth

Beth Folkerth is a seasoned education specialist with extensive experience in diverse teaching environments, currently serving as a Resource Specialist at Del Mar Union School District since August 2017. Prior to this role, Beth worked as a long-term substitute Resource Specialist and 1st Grade teacher at Sage Canyon Elementary School and has gained considerable experience substitute teaching across various grade levels within the North County Coastal Substitute Consortium. Additional clinical practice at Ericson Elementary School and Chaparral Elementary School further enhanced expertise in co-teaching, assessments, and IEP meetings. Beth holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Point Loma Nazarene University, alongside multiple bachelor’s degrees in graphic design and fine arts. This unique background combines artistic skills with a strong educational foundation, previously demonstrated in senior design roles in marketing and branding.
