Robin Glazer

Environmental Advocate at Delaware Nature Society

Robin Glazer is an environmental advocate at the Delaware Nature Society. Robin has also worked as an assistant curator and assistant zoo manager at the Brandywine Zoo, and as a curator of birds and mammals at the Virginia Living Museum.

Robin has a passion for animals and their care. Robin has supervised staff, interns, and volunteers; scheduled coverage and projects; and organized and implemented professional development opportunities. Robin has also coordinated with other managers to manifest strategic changes to animal care.

Robin has assisted with preparing documentation and facilities for AZA re-accreditation process. Robin also sat on the Acquisition/Disposition Committee and the Managers Team. In their previous position as Curator of Birds and Mammals at the Virginia Living Museum, they oversaw daily operations of staff and facilities for Virginia native species. Robin also managed the department through the facilities AZA re-accreditation application and inspection process.

Robin Glazer has a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in Wildlife and Fisheries (Wildlife Option), with a minor in Biology. Robin also participated in a semester abroad program at Duke University in Organization for Tropical Studies; African Ecology and Conservation Semester. For their Master of Arts, they went to Miami University in Biology. Robin also has certification from PADI in Advanced Open Water Diver, The American Association of Zoo Keepers in Professional Member, Association of Zoos and Aquariums in Professional Affiliate, and The Wildlife Society in Associate Wildlife Biologist.
