Rick Tighe

Rick Tighe has extensive experience in various roles within the transportation and emergency services sectors. Currently serving as a Toll Collector for the Delaware River Port Authority since August 2022, Tighe previously operated high-speed rail cars as a Train Operator/Engineer for the Port Authority Transit Corporation from January 2009 to August 2022. Experience also includes leadership roles with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as an Assistant District Staff Officer and with the Audubon Amateur Radio Club in nonprofit management. Earlier career positions include working as a Conductor for the Consolidated Rail Corporation, a Volunteer Firefighter and Trustee for Blackwood Fire Company Station 84, and a Police Dispatcher for the North Wildwood Police Department. Tighe holds a diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. John Neumann High School and a Professional Development Series Certificate in Emergency Management from FEMA.
