Clarine van Oel is an associate professor of user communication in design and construction at Technische Universiteit Delft, specializing in the architecture and construction industry with a focus on promoting aging in place and designing healthy environments through user-centered approaches and immersive technologies. Previously, Clarine van Oel served as an assistant professor at TU Delft, a senior advisor at TNO leading projects on indoor air quality, and held various research positions in public health and epidemiology at multiple academic medical centers. Clarine van Oel holds a PhD in psychiatry and epidemiology from Utrecht University and an MSc in Psychology from Amsterdam Free University.
