Colm Seale

Colm Seale is a PhD student and researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft since September 2020, focusing on developing machine learning models to predict DNA repair outcomes of CRISPR-Cas9 induced double-strand breaks. Prior to this role, Colm served as a teaching assistant and mentor at the same institution, assisting in Data Visualization and Artificial Intelligence courses. Colm's professional background includes experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Genesys, where responsibilities included developing Angular 5 and Redux libraries, and a prior role as a Software Engineer at Altocloud. Colm also worked at Fidelity Investments as a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master, where Colm led the development of a Reporting and DaaS Platform and was the Front-End Tech Lead for Single Page Web Apps using AngularJS. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Computer Science with a specialization in Bioinformatics from Delft University of Technology and a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Galway.
