Jurjen Slump

Jurjen Slump is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Content & PR Lead for Innovation at TU Delft since January 2017, where responsibilities include promoting the university's strengths in science, engineering, and design. Prior to this role, Jurjen held the position of Communications Advisor for Innovation at TU Delft. From May 2016 to January 2020, Jurjen worked as Communications Manager at RoboValley, focusing on the development of cognitive robotics. Jurjen's background includes freelance journalism and editorial roles at RTL Nederland and Novum Nieuws, where skills in reporting and communication were honed. Additionally, Jurjen served as a board member for the Stichting de Nationale DenkTank, bridging gaps between science, government, and business. Jurjen holds a degree from Utrecht University and completed gymnasium studies at Almere College Kampen.
