Soham Adla

Soham Adla, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology, leading a development cooperation PPP project aimed at enhancing water-centric sustainability for 20,000 cotton farmers in Maharashtra, India. With substantial experience in agricultural hydrology and irrigation management, Soham previously completed a doctoral thesis at the Technical University of Munich, which won an award for its innovative approach to soil moisture measurement and crop growth modeling. Soham has demonstrated strong leadership capability by managing teams in various roles, including as a research scientist at Kritsnam Technologies, where a successful project on IoT-based irrigation was co-developed, and during tenure at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, contributing to critical zone observatories. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and degrees in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering and Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
