Nelva Bryant Dvm

Nelva Bryant DVM, MPH, is a seasoned veterinarian with extensive experience in public health and animal transportation. Currently serving as a Veterinarian at Delta Air Lines and Banfield Pet Hospital since August 2021, Nelva also founded DVM Transportation Consultants, LLC, which specializes in mitigating risks associated with animal air transport. Previous roles include Quarantine Veterinary Medical Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where Nelva developed policies to prevent the introduction of communicable diseases via imported live animals, as well as various positions at the FDA and USDA focused on veterinary pathology and public health. Nelva holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa.
