Bas Bolman

Bas Bolman is a seasoned professional in marine and coastal management, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Deltares since March 2017, where responsibilities include the Sustainable Blue Economy initiatives in Mozambique, Seychelles, and Comoros, and promoting Integrated Coastal Zone Management. Prior experience includes roles at Wageningen Economic Research as an Aquaculture Researcher and Project Developer, and at Wageningen Marine Research in various capacities, including Programme Coordinator for Arctic initiatives. Bas has a strong background in developing international aquaculture projects, capacity building, and environmental performance improvement in maritime industries. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Development (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both from Wageningen University & Research.
