Barry C. McCarthy

Barry C. McCarthy is the current Director at Deluxe. Prior to this, they were the EVP & Head (Division President) of Network & Security Solutions at First Data Corporation from September 2004 to November 2018. Barry was responsible for a diversified and growing segment of the company that was publicly reported. From February 2002 to June 2003, they were the VP & GM at VeriSign where they had full Profit & Loss responsibility for a division that enabled Internet credit card and check payments through hosted and distributed enterprise software solutions. In March 2000, they co-founded MagnaCash, an online enterprise Software-as-a-Service (Saas) Company focused on payments below $10 for digital goods and services, where they served as the CEO & President until December 2001. Prior to that, from March 1998 to March 2000, they were the VP & GM of ATM Cards & Services at Wells Fargo. Barry started their career at Procter & Gamble in July 1986 as the U.S. Customer Marketing Manager of Deodorant Products and remained there until March 1998.

Barry C. McCarthy has an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in General Management/Marketing. Barry also has a certification from the Product Development Management Association (PDMA) in Certified Product Manager.
