Jared Hills

Jared Hills is a Mechatronics Development Engineer at Dematic since April 2012, leading a team in designing complex machines and subsystems to meet customer needs. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Application Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer Co-op, where responsibilities involved designing and implementing conveyor systems using 3D and 2D CAD packages, respectively. Jared also worked as a Sustaining Intern in R&D, focusing on product support and new product testing. Earlier roles include Barista/Shift Leader at Biggby and Telephone Outreach Caller for Grand Valley State University, where contributions involved customer service and fundraising efforts. Jared holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University, earned in 2016.
