Edgar Tkacenko

Edgar Tkacenko is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a 2nd Officer, Safety Officer, and JDPO at DEME Group since April 2023, working on an offshore wind turbine installation jack-up vessel. Previous roles include 3rd Officer and JDPO at CBED on an offshore support vessel from October 2022 to March 2023, and at Van Oord on a flexible fallpipe vessel from May 2022 to September 2022. Edgar also held the position of 3rd Officer on an ultra deep-water drillship at Ensco plc for a brief period in early 2022, and worked as a 2nd Officer on a research vessel with Redwise Maritime Services BV from October 2021 to February 2022. Additionally, experience as a 3rd Officer on oil/chemical tankers with Scorpio Tankers Inc. was gained from August 2020 to August 2021. Edgar holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Navigation from the Lithuanian Maritime Academy, completed in June 2020.
