Sydney Weiss

Sydney Weiss possesses extensive experience in donor relations and development within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Donor Experience Director at the Denver Zoological Foundation since April 2017, Sydney has held multiple roles, including Donor Experience Manager and Development Services Coordinator, and has focused on enhancing donor engagement and team morale. Prior experiences include roles as Athlete Leadership Program Manager and Donor Relations & Business Development Specialist at Special Olympics Colorado, where Sydney championed inclusivity and managed fundraising initiatives. Additional roles in development at Urban Peak and advertising at Chicago Tribune Media Group underscore a diverse background in communications and stakeholder management. Sydney holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Miami University and completed the Institute for Leaders in Development at the University of Denver.
