Marius Torres

Marius Torres is currently serving as an Economic Analyst at the International Monetary Fund in the Philippines since January 2024. Prior to this role, Marius has held various positions at the Department of Finance, starting as a Financial Analyst and advancing to Planning Officer II and III since August 2019. Marius also completed an internship at the National Economic and Development Authority in early 2019, focusing on health, nutrition, and population within the Social Development Staff. A notable accomplishment includes the development of a policy paper analyzing the country's healthcare system in relation to the enactment of Universal Health Care (RA 11223). Marius holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Public Policy from San Beda University, graduated in May 2019.
