Clare Birch

Clare Birch is an experienced professional with a diverse background in science, education, and investment. Currently serving as a member of the National Quantum Advisory Committee at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Clare contributes to the development of Australia's National Quantum Strategy. With a strong investment background as a Senior Investment Associate at Blackbird, Clare has successfully deployed over $100M in funding for frontier-tech companies and established Blackbird's flagship founder program, Foundry. Clare's prior roles include investment consulting at Startmate and leadership in chemistry education at the University of Sydney, where notable achievements included creating outreach programs and managing teams.
