Tristan Rendall

Tristan Rendall is an experienced professional in the fields of international AI policy, critical technology standards, and policy development within various government sectors. Currently, Tristan serves as Manager for International AI Policy & Engagement and Manager for Critical Technology Standards Policy at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. Previous roles include Manager of Policy Development in the Visitor Economy & Client Programs Division at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Adviser in the International Division of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and Deputy Consul-General at the Australian Consulate-General in Chennai. Additionally, Tristan has held the position of Assistant Director at the Critical Infrastructure Centre within the Australian Public Service and worked as a Policy Officer.
