Chad Wooten currently serves as a Consultant and Instructor for the Global Anti-Terror Assistance program within the U.S. Department of State since May 2023. With extensive experience in law enforcement, Chad has been with the Alabaster Police Department since October 2003, holding various roles including Day Shift Patrol Sergeant, Street Crimes Unit Sergeant, Police Detective, and Field Training Officer. Additionally, Chad serves as Assistant Commander of the SCSO Tactical Response Unit at Shelby County Sheriff's Office since 2013 and previously worked as a Fugitive Task Force Officer for the United States Marshals Service from 2010 to 2012. Chad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Montevallo between 1991 and 1998.
