Colin Vandersmith

Colin VanderSmith is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Hellbent Brewing Company since 2014, Colin has significantly contributed to the brewery's growth and distribution efforts. Parallelly, Colin has been an active member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council's Cyber & Digital Security Committee since 2015. Recent roles include Vice President of Product Management & Technology Partnerships at Ctrl IQ, Inc. and Senior Staff positions at Google, where responsibilities encompassed solution architecture and business development across multiple cloud initiatives. Prior experience includes key leadership roles at Oracle, including Senior Director overseeing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Customer Experience, alongside earlier positions at Microsoft, Vitrue, and several startups that were acquired by larger corporations. Colin holds degrees in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University and has pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin and Tacoma Community College.
