Jeffrey Tang

Jeffrey Tang has extensive experience in diplomatic and policy roles, currently serving as a Political Officer at the U.S. Department of State since July 2009, with positions such as Diplomatic Exchange Fellow, Singapore and Brunei Desk Officer, and Refugee Coordinator. Recent experience includes a role as Senior Policy Advisor at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade from September 2023 to July 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Research Coordinator at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies from September 2005 to August 2006. Jeffrey Tang holds an M.A. in International Relations with a focus on International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Certificate in Chinese and American Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and a B.A. in History and Communications from Wheaton College.
