Joanna C.

Joanna C. is an experienced diplomat and foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State since September 2019. Joanna serves as a consultant and partnerships lead at FreeWill since November 2018 and holds positions as a corporate board member, interim executive director, and founder with Right to Be, a nonprofit advocating against harassment and promoting safe environments. Joanna has a background in advocating for gender-based violence awareness within the AAPI community through involvement with Womankind. Previous roles include director of sales for North America at uCloudlink, account executive at Organizer Inc., and several positions at Cisco Meraki. Joanna is committed to leadership development and mentorship for youth with a long-standing role at Youth Leadership America. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in International Relations from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies & Global Poverty from the University of California, Berkeley, along with studies at esteemed institutions such as the National University of Singapore and Fudan University.
