Julianna Cavano

Julianna Cavano currently serves as an Instructor at barre3 since December 2017 and as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State since July 2017. In the role of Program Officer within the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs since February 2024, Julianna previously worked as a Strategy Officer in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs from September 2021 to February 2024. Earlier experience includes positions as Program Assistant and Intern in various departments at the U.S. Department of State, a Legislative Intern at the United States Senate, and a Government Relations Intern at the American Apparel & Footwear Association. Julianna holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University, obtained in 2017, along with additional education from ISDE in 2016.
