Karen Zimmerman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and program coordination, particularly in the fields of public health and international development. Currently serving as Team Chief and Program Officer for the U.S. Department of State since August 2014, Karen has previously held roles such as Program Manager and Project Manager at CRDF Global, where multiple international projects were managed. Key contributions include designing studies on road traffic injuries in Tanzania while at Amend and managing international public-private partnerships at the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
