John Clink

John Clink is an experienced information security and IT professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at the U.S. Department of the Interior, a role held since March 2020, John has previously held several leadership positions including Chief Information Security Officer (A) and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Prior experience includes senior roles at organizations such as Unnamed, CyberPoint International, and General Dynamics, where John specialized in program management and IT infrastructure. Notably, John directed the HR Information Systems department at BAE Systems, overseeing platforms for over 50,000 employees, and managed cybersecurity engineering at the U.S. Department of Energy. John began their career as a Senior Technologist at General Dynamics AIS, advising on secure communications and networking.
