Dikeledi Baloyi

Dikeledi Baloyi is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in water management and environmental practices. Currently serving as an Environmental Officer Specialized Production at the Department of Water and Sanitation since December 2013, Dikeledi provides support in developing policies to manage water use impacts in line with the National Water Act 36 of 1998, focusing on regulations for mining activities and mine water management. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior SHE Practitioner at Sasol, where Dikeledi maintained environmental best practices, and as an Environmental Assistant at Anglo American, focused on monitoring environmental impacts. Dikeledi's career began at H and H Environmental Consulting, conducting assessments and developing management plans. Academic qualifications include a BSc Honours in Environmental Analysis and Management from the University of Pretoria and a BSc in Water Resources Management from the University of Zululand.
