Phumelele Promise Madonda

Phumelele Promise Madonda is currently serving as a TRA Intern in the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs since April 2024, following a role as a Conference Producer at SkillingSA from January to March 2024. Prior experience includes freelance writing with The Urban Writers from November 2021 to January 2024 and a position as Secretary for the eThekwini Municipality from November 2019 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing the Deputy City Manager's schedule and facilitating meetings. Additional experience as a Human Resources Intern involved screening candidate applications, while previous roles included Academic Tutor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, focusing on educational material development and learning facilitation. Early career experience as a Sales Assistant at ABM Charters emphasized customer relationship management. Phumelele holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences with a focus on City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the same institution.
