Alicia Tang

Alicia Tang is a seasoned physiotherapist and sports medicine specialist with extensive experience in leading medical and physical performance initiatives across various sports organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Academy Medicine & Physical Performance at Derby County Football Club, Alicia oversees the delivery of medical services, sports science, and strength and conditioning aligned with the Academy Performance Plan. Prior roles include Head of Academy Medicine at Manchester United and Lead Physiotherapist for the England Women's Team, where Alicia worked with the Lionesses. Alicia's notable accomplishments also include serving as Head Physiotherapist for the Women's Olympic Football Team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and extensive contributions to sports medicine within Australian and international teams, including the Australian Baseball League and the Western Bulldogs. Alicia holds a Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University.
