Georgios Papageorgiou

Georgios Papageorgiou currently serves as the Director of the International Honors Program and the Head of the Department of Tourism, Hospitality, and Sport at The American College of Greece, a position held since September 2013, where responsibilities include departmental administration, teaching, and student advising. Previously, Georgios was a Visiting Professor at ALBA Graduate Business School, Academic Dean at Alpine Center, and Lecturer in Tourism at the University of Surrey, among other roles in the tourism and education sectors. Georgios holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham and has completed various professional diplomas, including in Transformational Coaching and Digital Marketing. Experience also includes management roles at the ATHENS 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Village and teaching assistance at the University of Birmingham.
