Beckman Coulter

Beckman Coulter is the current Director at DermTech. Prior to this, Beckman served as the Bioinformatics Analytical Manager at Genoptix from August 2016 to July 2018. In this role, Beckman was responsible for managing NGS LIMS development and integrations as well as NGS pipeline development and maintenance on Amazon Web Services. From November 2014 to July 2016, Beckman was a Senior Scientist at Millennium Health, where they were responsible for laboratory automation, data mining, and product development. prior to that, from June 2010 to October 2014, Beckman was the Senior Manager of Integrated Automations at Pathway Genomics Corporation, where they managed automation and LIMS integration efforts for new product developments and supported data mining and analysis efforts.

Beckman began their career in 2008 as a Research Specialist at the Human Origins Genotyping Laboratory at the University of Arizona. In this role, they were responsible for conducting research on human origins and genotyping. They then transitioned into a role as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Medical Pharmacology at the University of Arizona, where they conducted research on medical pharmacology from July 2005 to December 2007.

The educational career for Beckman Coulter includes a MS in Medical Pharmacology from the University of Arizona and a BS in Physics, Mathematical Sciences from Binghamton University. They also have certifications from Amazon Web Services in AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA), AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
