Tim Paluch

Tim Paluch serves as the Marketing & Communications Supervisor for the Des Moines Public Library since August 2018, leading a team to promote the library's six branches and coordinating the annual Authors Visiting in Des Moines (AViD) speaker series. Additionally, Tim has worked as a freelance journalist since July 2013, specializing as an editor and writer. Previously, from May 2003 to July 2013, Tim held the position of Lifestyles Editor at The Des Moines Register, managing various publications and leading a diverse team of writers and photographers. Tim's journalism career includes roles as an editor for Juice Magazine and as a reporter covering a range of topics. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Iowa State University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
