Dan Sarel has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Dan began their career in 1997 as the Director of Technical Business Development for Radguard. In 2001, they moved to Infocyclone as Director of Product Management. In 2003, they joined Check Point Software Technologies as VPN Solutions Manager, then moved up to Director of Product Management and finally to VPN Solutions Director. In 2007, they became Vice President of Products and Business Development for Sentrigo. From 2011 to 2015, they were Vice President of Endpoint Security Strategy and Vice President of Database Security Products for McAfee. In 2015, they co-founded Demisto as VP of Product. In 2019, they joined Palo Alto Networks as VP of Product Management. In 2020, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors for Lightlytics. In 2021, they were "just kicking down the cobblestones". In 2022, they co-founded Descope.
Dan Sarel received their MA in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University in 1996. Dan obtained their BA in English and Psychology from Tel Aviv University in 1992. Dan attended Gymnasia Rehavia from 1981 to 1984, and Beit Hayeled from 1972 to 1980.
