Kurt Strobel

Kurt Strobel, P.E. is a Senior Associate at DeSimone Consulting Engineering, having joined in July 2024. Prior to this role, Kurt served as Principal at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants from July 2021 to July 2024 and Vice President of Engineering at GERB Vibration Control Systems, Inc. (USA) from October 2015 to July 2021, where responsibilities included tuned mass damper design and vibration analysis. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Structural Services at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants from 2007 to 2015, focusing on dynamic structural analysis and project management, and as Senior Engineering Manager at Advanced Energy from 1997 to 2007, overseeing program management and engineering design. Kurt holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Middlebury College.
