Karl Thompson

Karl Thompson is an experienced production manager with a robust history in manufacturing and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Production Manager at DeterTech since July 2023, Karl previously held similar positions at Northwood Hygiene Products Ltd and Lear Corporation, contributing significantly to team management and operational efficiency. Karl's tenure at DENSO Europe involved managing a team of 60 associates, focusing on new injection mould cells and key performance indicators. Earlier experiences at MAHLE, where Karl managed teams in injection molding and assembly, and Johnson Controls in assembly and welding units, further solidified expertise in production management and team leadership. Karl completed education at Aulderlea Boys in Birmingham.
