Andreas-Achim Schmidt

Andreas-Achim Schmidt has a robust career at Deutsche Bank since April 1999, currently serving as Head of Information Security Control Testing for the IAM Control Pillar, leading teams across the US, Germany, and India while managing the Universal Governance Program. Previously, Andreas-Achim held several leadership positions, including Head of Information Security Control Assurance and Head of Identity & Access Compliance Management, where responsibilities included establishing bank-wide security frameworks and managing compliance processes. With expertise in Information Security Management, ISO 27001, and IT Risk Management, Andreas-Achim also has experience in various roles such as Vice President of Regulatory Risk & Control and Assistant Vice President of Business Services. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Andreas-Achim worked at Start Amadeus Vertrieb GmbH as a Customer Support Manager. Educational qualifications include a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
