Juan Vargas

Juan Vargas, M.S./E.I.T., currently serves as a Senior Project Engineer at Devcon Construction since June 2013, with extensive experience in maintenance jobs, tenant improvements, and tool hook-ups for process jobs at Lam Research. Responsibilities include developing scopes of work, scheduling job walks, managing budgets using Prolog and Excel, and handling subcontractor contracts and billings. Prior to this role, Juan held positions at Santa Clara University, including Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Assistant Resident Director, and Community Facilitator, where contributions included improving sustainable construction practices, providing academic support, and supervising residence hall operations. Juan holds a Master's degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Spanish Studies from Santa Clara University.
