Niamh Clarke

Niamh Clarke is a seasoned professional in the field of human rights and international relations, currently serving as Third Secretary and Vice Consul at the Consulate General of Ireland in Austin since June 2019. Previously, Niamh held roles at the UK Mission to the UN in Geneva as a Team Assistant focusing on Human Rights and served as a Human Rights Attaché for the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations. Professional experience also includes a Legal Protection Internship at UNHCR UK and a Caseworker position at the Irish Refugee Council. Niamh's legal foundation is supported by a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights and Criminal Justice from the Irish Centre for Human Rights at University of Galway and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen's University Belfast.
