Gayashi Wijesundara

Gayashi Wijesundara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Currently serving as Assistant Manager - Sustainability at DFCC Bank PLC since August 2022, Gayashi has previously held the position of CSR & Corporate Sustainability Officer at Sampath Bank from December 2013 to August 2022. Early career experiences include a role as a Finance Trainee at the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and as an Audit Trainee at Canagey Wijeyeratne & Company. Educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from CIM, an MBA from the University of Colombo, a BBA from the same institution, Chartered Accountancy certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and life membership in the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, along with becoming an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
