Ravini Karunaratne

Ravini Karunaratne currently serves as the Assistant Manager - Sustainability at DFCC Bank PLC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Ravini worked as the Environment and Social Safeguard Officer for AHEAD operation from October 2021 to May 2023 and as an Environment Officer at the Central Environmental Authority from January 2014 to July 2019. Ravini's educational background includes a Master of Science in Climate Change and Environment Management from the University of Colombo (2024-2026), a Certificate Program in Corporate Sustainability & Digital Transformation from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (June 2023 - October 2023), a Quality Management certificate course from the Sri Lanka Standards Institute (March 2023 - May 2023), an Executive Course in Occupational Safety and Health from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (September 2022 - December 2022), a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science from the University of Colombo (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (2006-2010).
