Chris Wedding is the founder of Entrepreneurs for Impact, a leading community for growth-stage CEOs and investors in climate tech, focusing on enhancing revenue and impact through peer support and coaching. Chris also serves as an Executive in Residence at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, teaching courses in Energy Finance and Management Consulting. With a strong commitment to sustainability, Chris holds board positions at World Tree, DG Matrix, and Terraset, and is a Senior Advisor at Javelin Capital. Additionally, Chris is a Professor of the Practice at Kenan-Flagler Business School and an Associate Professor at Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, where a range of subjects related to sustainability and cleantech is taught. As Managing Director of IronOak Energy Capital, Chris provides strategic advisory services for renewable energy projects. Educational credentials include a PhD and MS in Sustainable Business and Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a BS in Environmental Science from Western Kentucky University.
