Ryan Toohey

Ryan Toohey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in crisis communications and strategic consulting. Currently a Partner at DGA Group since August 2021, Ryan previously served as Managing Director and Head of Crisis Communications at Edelman from June 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, Ryan was the Senior Managing Director and Head of the Crisis and Issues Practice for the Americas at FTI Consulting from November 2010 to June 2020. Additional experience includes a role as Partner at Global Strategy Group from March 2007 to October 2010, Campaign Manager for Eliot Spitzer's gubernatorial campaign from March 2005 to January 2007, and Managing Director at Westhill Partners from September 2002 to April 2005. Ryan holds a law degree from Columbia Law School (1998-2002) and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Classics from the University at Buffalo (1993-1997).
