Talani van Schalkwyk

Talani van Schalkwyk is an experienced food technologist currently working at DGB (Pty) Ltd since April 2023. In addition, Talani serves as an independent distributor for Annique Health and Beauty and has held various internships, including at Fairview Wine & Cheese, Synercore Food Holdings, and Garner Wafers and Confectionery. Talani's research experience includes a role as a research assistant in the Food Science department at the Center for Food Safety at Stellenbosch University, as well as part-time positions in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and within the Department of Biomedical Sciences. Talani holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, a Master's degree in Human/Medical Genetics, and a BSc honors in Human/Medical Genetics, all from Stellenbosch University, along with a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Educational background includes attendance at Hugenote High School.
