Dr. Hilka Schneider

Dr. Hilka Schneider serves as General Counsel and a member of the Executive Committee at AkzoNobel since January 2022. Previously, Dr. Schneider held significant roles at TUI from 2014 to December 2021, including Member of the Group Executive Committee and Group Director of Legal, Compliance & Board Office, overseeing the global legal department and compliance management for the company. Additional experience includes serving as General Counsel and Chief of Staff at Demag Cranes AG, holding various supervisory board positions, and practicing as a corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP. Dr. Schneider's educational background includes advanced legal degrees from the University of Münster and time spent at the University of California, Berkeley.
