Steve Menke

A forward-thinking technology manager with proven ability to deliver large scale projects with limited resources, Steve Menke has held a number of senior leadership roles in the wearable sensor space including the Vice President of Software at Jawbone and Chief Information Officer at BodyMedia (acquired by Jawbone). Additionally, he also serves as a technical advisor for Diamond Kinetics.

With an extremely effective ability of explaining business issues and a keen adeptness to connect the dots between customer needs and technical deliverables at all levels, Menke has led innovation and development at BodyMedia for over 10 years.

During his time at the company, Menke has been named CIO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Tech Council. He also led the BodyMedia team in garnering an IBM ACE Award for Outstanding Success with WebSphere Technology and a Bluetooth SIG Best of CES Award in 2011. Moreover, he has been responsible for developing six patents during his professional career.

Menke, who currently resides in Pittsburgh, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
