Andras David Wirth

Andras David Wirth is an experienced professional in the field of medical imaging and data analysis. Currently serving as the Data Analysis Group Leader at Diamond Light Source since November 2023, Wirth has previously contributed to Kromek Group plc in medical imaging roles from 2020 to October 2023, and held various leadership positions at Mediso Medical Imaging Systems from December 2011 to December 2019, focusing on SPECT imaging, reconstruction, and machine learning. Wirth's early career included roles at Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a Teaching Assistant and at Semmelweis University as a Scientific Co-Worker, along with experience at GE Healthcare as an Algorithm Developer. Wirth holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Leeds, completed in November 2023, and a degree from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, obtained in 2006.
