Rio Asaka Wey is currently a Fintech Strategy and Planning Intern at DiDi, focusing on enhancing personal credit loan services in Mexico through market research and data analysis using R and Python. Rio is a certified member of the Duke Investment Club's Analyst and Investor Training Program and has volunteered as a tutor for First Generation Investors, teaching personal finance and stock market basics. Previous experience includes a VC Summer Internship at 高榕资本 and a Research Assistant role at Duke University's FCC Telecom Spectrum Lab, where Rio analyzed telecom spectrum auction bids. Additionally, Rio contributed to the Duke International Association as a Treasurer and a Project Intern at Flying Fish Lab, engaging in product consultancy for Danone. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Economics with a Finance Concentration at Duke University, Rio also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Tanglin Trust School.
