Wenche Marie Agerup

Wenche Agerup is a senior business leader with 20 years of experience in various leadership and executive roles across several industries.

Wenche joined Telenor in 2015 as the Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, and General Counsel. Prior to Telenor, she spent 16 years with Hydro ASA, a Norwegian conglomerate, where she held various executive roles, including plant manager, head of corporate M&A, as well as a project director role in Perth, Australia, before relocating back to Oslo as the Executive Vice President People and General Counsel.

Wenche is currently the Senior Vice President, Head of Board Governance and Support for Telenor Asia. Over the last decade, Wenche has served on several boards in international companies listed in Norway, such as Equinor ASA and Oslo Stock Exchange. At present, she is serving on the boards of TGS ASA, as well as several of Telenor ASA’s subsidiaries, namely Telenor Broadcast Holding AS, Telenor Real Estate

Wenche holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Oslo, and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College, USA.
