Mirja Puhakka

Mirja Puhakka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the ICT sector. Currently serving as a Service Manager at Digia Plc since May 2021, Puhakka has held various roles, including ICT-project manager at Keski-Uudenmaan sote-kuntayhtymä and Application Specialist/Project Manager at Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. Prior to these positions, Puhakka gained leadership experience as a Team Lead and Specialist at Nets Oy and worked as a System Designer at Kela. Puhakka began a career in software engineering at Digia and has held earlier roles such as Build Engineer at Tieto-X and Assistant/Researcher at the University of Kuopio. Puhakka holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
