George Ishii

George Ishii has extensive experience in archival and digital library management, currently serving as a Digital Librarian at Digital Domain since August 2010. Previous roles include Digital Library Intern, Library Clerk at Library Associates, and Archival Assistant at the Ruthven Exhibit Museum of Natural History. George has been involved in various projects that encompass arranging, cataloging, and digitizing archival materials across several institutions, including the Wende Museum and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Additionally, George contributed to digitization efforts at the University of Michigan's Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library Special Collections and the Archdiocese of Chicago. George holds a Master of Science in Information with a focus on Archives and Records Management from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Southern California.
