Frank Foley

Frank Foley is currently a Board Member at Digital Learning Associates. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at HarperCollins Japan from April 2017 to December 2019. There, they led a 60-person team and was responsible for publishing over 350 manga titles and almost 100 trade titles per year. Frank was able to grow the company by leveraging HarperCollins’ global network and its position as the only in-market foreign trade publisher. Frank also launched multiple world-class authors, such as Don Winslow, Karin Slaughter, and Daniel Silva. In addition, they launched the National Geographic Kids natural history/SDG publishing program targeting school and public libraries. Lastly, they introduced a culture of creativity and experimentation, which resulted in several outstanding books, including a simultaneous Japanese & English autobiography with international soccer star and national team captain Maya Yoshida; a National Geographic Kids collaboration with award-winning Japan-based poet Arthur Binard; and a highly popular title for the 2019 Rugby World Cup “Rugby Rules For Rookies”.

Frank Foley received a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language from Griffith University.
