Keanan Smith

Keanan Smith is a design engineer at Dimensional Innovations. Keanan previously worked as an electromechanical design engineer at PRG Prototyping from April 2016 to March 2022. There, they designed and developed custom electronics for prototypes of consumer products, adapted off-shelf electronics to suit customer requirements, designed schematics and PCB layouts, and sourced electrical components. Keanan also fabricated PCBA prototypes utilizing hand and hot-air soldering of thru hole and SMD components, developed firmware for microcontroller based solutions, and integrated electronic designs into 3D CAD environment for mechanical design. In addition, Keanan designed and developed the mechanical aspects of product prototypes, communicated with clients during entire development process, and reviewed and oversaw work of subcontractors.

Keanan Smith received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology with an Electromechanical Emphasis from Pittsburg State University. Keanan also holds an Associate of Science in Engineering from Labette Community College, as well as an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology, General, and an Associate of Science in Mathematics from the same school.
