Bettina is the founder and principal of Eckerle Law, a New York corporate law firm focusing on privately held businesses for a variety of legal needs, including compliance. Her particular focus is the Investment Advisers Act and the fiduciary standard associated with it.
Before launching her own firm, Bettina was the General Counsel of DigitalGlobe, Inc., the largest satellite imagery company in the world and the General Counsel and head of compliance of Focus Financial Partners, LLC, the largest partnership of fiduciary investment advisers in the world, with more than $60 billion assets under management today.
Bettina was admitted to the Bar in Munich in 1990 and New York in 1995 and is a member of the American Bar Association, and the New York State and New York City Bar Associations. She obtained her law degrees at New York University Law School in New York and Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
